Forget the traditional green and red, my new favorite holiday colors are fuchsia and cactus green. People (who I do not envy) strung white lights on all the cactuses and scrubby trees in the median of a road in Ahwatukee (which is where Kris lives and is fun to say). Intermixed with the cactuses are bushes with brillaint fuchsia flowers. Maybe these were blooming before but they seemed especially enchanting this weekend.This picture is of similar bushes I pass on the way to work.
