From "special weather statement" to "winter storm warning" - that is what I like to see on the weather.com forecast page.

A storm system over western nevada this morning will move across the area and generate scattered valley rain and mountain snow showers tonight into saturday morning. Snow levels will fall as low as 5000 feet late tonight and saturday morning...with 3 to 6 inches of snow possible above 6000 feet. Given the expected path of this system...the mountains of cochise county have the best chance of receiving significant snowfall.
A winter storm watch means there is a potential for significant snow... Sleet...or ice accumulations that may impact travel."
Actually, a "winter storm watch" for the Tucson metro means, as they state: rain - with the perk of seeing snowcapped mountains.
