Here are some pictures from our arrival in Tucson. In the evening of the day we arrived, we wandered around campus. The sunset was amazing - the color started on one side of the sky and moved across. There were many good clouds and thunderheads on the horizon since it is "monsoon season". We stopped the planetarium and observatory, which has public sky viewings on Wednesday night. But the man there said it probably was going to be too cloudy to see anything. Otherwise we could have seen Jupiter off in the southern sky. I will have to be sure to go back when it is clear.
