We arrived today without incident. It was sunny with blue sky and clouds most of the way here, with striking mountains lining the horizon. After stopping by my house, which is cute, we made the obligatory trek to Target. John and I strolled around the campus and enjoyed a large sunset. We had dinner down on the mini-Strip-like-area, which was very quiet since it is summer. Because I was out of clean clothes (I packed enough for the drive, the rest are being shipped thanks to Kris :)), we did laundry at the laundry mat that adjoins my parking lot. Walking back and forth was very convenient.
