This will begin what should become a regular installment of "Words of Wisdom from T.P." mined from the 102 lecture class I am TAing for. The freshmen don't know what they are in for.

“Your opinion doesn’t count for squat unless you understand [the material]” TP 8/20/07

This statement was made during the class introduction and the Prof explaining how if everyone in the world thought like him, it would be boring, and he gets bored easily. I think it is a very fair and important thing to start with.
