I have heard from long-time residents that this has been an unusual spring weather-wise. We had early warmth, but then it has been around 60 for the past week - the average is 70. By the end of this week, though it is forecast to be 80 (remind me why I am leaving sun and warmth to go to the Bay Area and then Montana??).
A sure sign of spring: return of outdoor games. Yes, my neighbor is outside setting up the frisbee/horseshoes-type game they invented - and frequently played during the warm nights of the fall.
I guess it is time to investigate where the heralded beautiful wildflowers can be found.
