spring break pt 1

My mom came to visit this weekend (her spring break overlapped with mine). We had lots of fun in spite of the unseasonably cool spring weather. In fact, the weather was great for going to the mostly-outdoors Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Here are some pictures from our walk around out in the desert. We learned that cactuses in the desert only grow 0.10 in per year. We also saw many varieties of desert snakes, a glow under uv light scorpion, a mountain lion, and prairie dogs.
