I haven't figured out the weather/seasons here yet.
There have been a few days cold enough for a heavy coat, hat, scarf, and gloves. Generally, when I walk to the train in the morning, it is in the 40s and I start with a scarf and gloves but take them off by the time I get there.
I know that the rainy period is coming. The current 10-day forecast has rain every day, and the temperature will be 40s/50s in San Jose and 50s in SF. I guess this is what "winter" in the Bay Area is. But, yesterday I noticed the Bradford Pear trees outside my apartment are starting to bloom. The other trees are bear and look like winter.
